LAPTOP
or BOOKS?

Living
in this world needs knowledge as much as possible because through knowledge we
are able to know what exactly acts that we have to do so we can survive, as we
want. There are so many kinds of knowledge, as we know such as science, social,
technology, anthropology and so on. People even do not realize that so many
sources of knowledge surround that they can reach, for example, the education
from your parents, lots of information from your friends and partners, the
signs that you see everywhere, magazines and newspapers, advertisements on the
internet, lot of books in books store, etc.
Now
we are going discuss it academically. As the students of university, we are
demanded to have competent skill thoroughly, getting the lecturing from your lecturers
in the class everyday is not enough for improving and enhancing your real
ability. Therefore, you need to have extra power in doing harder effort,
obviously reading many books which is related to your subject is the best way
to do. In fact, every university around the world completely provide a library for
those who need more additional informations and knowledge through thousands
books which definitely can be borrowed and be read. “Books are the window of
the world”, that simple quotation does not sound strange in our ears, books
have already been produced great
scientists who have already created
theories which has been influence many things in our life.
By
the time, the era has been changed to Digital system, which let the human being
do many kind of activities instantly. Absolutely, it may happens because of the
increasing intelligence of human being
which is might also got from the books, everything has been changed to digital
devices, for example, Laptop and modem which provide easily to access so many
information by internet connection around the world. Consequently, laptop also
can be another way in getting knowledge. How? it is easy, you can put so many
e-books inside your laptop, you do not need to bring so many heavy books with
your lovely energy, you just bring one laptop. It means that you are not face
to face with real paper again. Wow, that is great right, we can save the trees
and prevent the global warming, because as we know papers are made from the
trees.
Unfortunately,
not all people utilize laptop as well as they do, they do not think that laptop
is available device for reading. Otherwise, they use laptop for some enjoyable
activities such as playing games, watching either movie or drama, chatting on
social network in very long time, etc. it happens because laptop is available
to do those kind of activities, but not like books.
Books
do not have any temptation for their consumers, they only let human being to
read them. Wisely, you as the knowledge hunters can focus on your study, and
you can understand and get the point quickly, it is better if you also choose
the library as your partner in the campus .
Laptop
lovers think that reading e-book is in laptop much easier and brighter, they
are able to save and read so many e-books inside the laptop but those are the
opposite state that we also have to bring the laptop charger everywhere if we
desire to spend very long time for reading outside our home, probably it will
not easy to find the terminal outside if your laptop need to be charged,
and those who prefer reading on the real
book say that they will not get the real sensation of reading if they read
e-book, they can not put a note and they argue it can break or hurt our eyes if
we are looking very long time at the
screen of laptop. Frankly, for those who are music lovers and like studying
with listening to music can use laptop as your alternative books, because when
you are reading you may listen to music through your laptop’s application, but
not for those who prefer quite situation when they are reading because everybody
has different ways to get their want.
Well,
there are so many perceptions here.
Getting
the real success is must be done by ourselves, keep earning knowledge as much
as you can, as the academic students we have to really focus on what we study,
especially in reading, we have to read more and more because reading is the
bridge of our real bright future. Keep your reading every time and invite your
friends surround you to do the same. lots we read lots we get, whatever the way
you choose and you do, either paper books or e-books, because every way has the
goodness and the weakness, as long you are able to control and manage your own
way, (in term of reading)you will definitely get the points that you seek.
